Which psychological problems cause excess weightHave you ever wondered which are the factors that cause excess weight? Often there are purely psychological problems which become the reason for extra weight. Check out some of them:

  • Low self-esteem and high self-criticism. The two usually go hand in hand. People who are overly critical of themselves, are expected to suffer from low self-esteem. Being in a constant struggle with ourselves is not something that we can live permanently with. At one point the food is the one element that fills the holes of ruined yourself.

  • Depression. Reasons of depression are many, but in general this condition is characterized by lethargy, apathy, lack of desire for anything. Unfortunately, in order to improve the current state, many people in depression resort to stimulants such as alcohol, tobacco, gambling and last but not least – food. Food, especially sweet, greasy or too salty, makes us feel more euphoric and elated, but only briefly. Soon after that pleasure is replaced with feelings of guilt and increased self-criticism. Depressed people have no desire even for regular home cleaning.
  • Fears and need of protection. Many obese people suffer from a number of hidden fears – fear of commitment, fear of failure, fear of communication and more and more completely invisible to others (and sometimes for the very suffering) inhibitions. People with fears recognize that the more food they eat, the more secure they feel. With overweight they create an invisible barrier between them and the hostile surrounding world and try to isolate it. Fears, however, must be confronted, because it is the only way to get rid of them. The same advice is given by your carpet cleaning specialists too.
  • Boredom. Apathy. Lack of taste for life. There are people whose lives are ruled by boredom and apathy. They tend to eat constantly, greedily and without satiety. This entails not only overweight, but even greater dissatisfaction with life. You have to live at a slower pace, to enjoy the simple, natural food and non-consumer part of life. In such cases it is sufficient to deal with excess weight.
